Isaiah 45:12 “It is I who made the earth and created mankind upon it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts.”
- Praise Yah, or hallel le Yah, that He knows the beginning from the end and is ultimately in charge.
Hezbollah fired approximately 250 rockets on Wednesday during the holy day of Shavuot, or Pentecost, as most Christians know it.
Psalm 9:15 “The Nations have fallen into the pit they have dug; their feet are caught in the net they have hidden.
- Pray the wickedness of Hamas and Hezbollah would be judged; that they would fall into their own traps.
Psalm 118:10 “All the Nations surrounded me, but in the name of the LORD I cut them off.”
- Pray for total victory for Israel over Hamas and her enemies all around.
Israel assassinated senior Hezbollah commander, Sami Taleb Abdullah, who was our equivalent to a brigadier general. He led the rocket fire to the Golan and Galilee panhandle. This was accomplished through intelligence. The hostages were also rescued through intelligence.
- Pray Israel’s intelligence of the enemy would be even greater; they would assess it accurately and act upon it. Pray protection for Israel’s spies and informers.
- Pray for the remainder of hostages to be miraculously rescued.
Psalm 18:3 “I call to the LORD who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies
- Pray for protection for the IDF and all in Israel who do not desire her harm.
Yemen is still attacking shipping in the Red Sea. Shipping has decreased by more than 50%. Some ships have been set on fire, though none have sunk.
Psalm 10:15 “Break the arm of the wicked and evil man; call him to account for his wickedness that would not be found out.”
- Pray Houthis to be brought down.
Psalm 23:1 “The LORD is my shepherd, I shall lack nothing.
- Pray for the Christian communities in Israel, Gaza, Lebanon and Yemen.
Joel 3:14 “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.”
- Pray for multitudes in the valley of decision to decide for Jesus Messiah.
Ephesians 4:11 “It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists; and some to be pastors and teachers
- Pray for the ministries God has raised up in Israel and the Middle East. Pray for protection, provision, good platforms, and favor with the government.
- Pray for divine appointments, ears to be opened, dreams and visions, both Jews and Muslims and any others.
- Pray for the ministers. Their health, their families, their encouragement.
Isaiah 62:6,7 “I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the earth.”
- Pray this scripture; pray for more Intercessors, pray for the watchmen.
Amos 9:15 “I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them, says the LORD your God.”
- Let the Nations against Israel know that “From the River to the Sea“ will never ever be for Israel’s enemies. But I pray Israel would declare their sovereignty from the River to the Sea. Because this will surely be. And even more, says HE.
- Pray for peace in Judea and Samaria between the Jews and Arabs who live there. Against escalation and diminishing of attacks and tension there.
Again, we want to lift-up these persecuted witnesses to the Lord:
- Leah Sharibu, a prisoner of Boko Haram since 2018. Pray for her release.
- Alice Loksha Ngaddah, kidnapped February 2019. She is a mother of two, working as a nurse for UNICEF. Pray for her release.
- Pastor Wang Yi to be released from prison, for his family and for the church.

- Pastors Haile Nayzgi and Dr. Kiflu Gebremeskel. It is unconscionable that these two men, along with Pastor Meron Gebreselasie who was arrested a month later, remain imprisoned under horrible conditions in Eritrea.
- The Harvest: “37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38

What is Persecution Watch?
Persecution Watch is a U.S. national prayer conference call ministry that prays specifically for the global Persecuted Church. For over a decade, Blaine Scogin led this national network of believers who faithfully pray for the persecuted and the global harvest for the Kingdom of God. The group meets via a free call-in service every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday night at 9pm Eastern time in the United States (please check your time zone). Blaine also served as Prayer Director for Voice of the Persecuted, and the two missions became one. Brother Blaine passed into glory on December 26, 2019. It was truly a blessing for all of us to serve alongside this dear man of God and he will be greatly missed. The prayer mission of Persecution Watch remains an important part of our mission. Voice of the Persecuted is committed to continue the prayer conference call for the persecuted along with the dedicated Persecution Watch prayer warrior team.
Prior to the passing of Brother Blaine, he confirmed the passing of the torch as prayer conference call leader to Nadia Dybvik. Nadia has a burdened heart for the persecuted and is a prayer warrior standing in the gap for them. She joined the Persecution Watch prayer team in 2015 and has been part of the core ever since. Before becoming the prayer call leader, she served in the role of prayer moderator since 2016. Blaine chose Nadia for her faithfulness to pray for the persecuted and her strong commitment to the Persecution Watch mission. We are blessed not only with her gift of prayer, but her genuine love for every brother and sister in Christ that comes on the call to pray. May the Lord continue to bless Nadia and the prayer team in the mission and their personal lives.
“Pray for us” is the number one request that we hear from the persecuted. As the members of the first century Church were moved by the Holy Spirit to pray, we too must continue to serve those suffering persecution by lifting them up to the Lord through prayer.
On occasion, persecuted brothers and sisters are invited to join the conference call and share the trials they are facing. The team serves to encourage them by washing their feet in Spirit led prayer. Time is reserved for those on the call to ask questions. We believe this helps to gain a better understanding of the situation that persecuted Christians endure in their specific nations. Q&A also helps us to focus our prayers based on their current needs.
Persecution Watch also hosts callers who want to pray united from other nations. If your heart is perplexed by the sufferings of our persecuted brothers and sisters, you no longer need to pray alone.
We welcome all who desire to pray for the persecuted church and consider it a joy to pray together with you.
