(Voice of the Persecuted) Blaine Scogin began Persecution Watch, a U.S. national prayer conference call ministry that prays specifically for the Persecuted Church. For over a decade, Blaine led this national network of believers who faithfully pray for the persecuted and the global harvest for the Kingdom of God. The group meets three times a week via a free call-in service.
Blaine joined Voice of the Persecuted in 2014 and began serving as our Prayer Director. At this time, the two missions merged. Blaine was also active in serving to meet the immediate physical and spiritual needs of our suffering brothers and sisters through the Voice of the Persecuted mission. The prayer mission of Persecution Watch remains an important part of Voice of the Persecuted. With the passing of our dear brother into glory on December 26, 2019, Voice of the Persecuted is committed to continue the prayer conference call for the persecuted along with the dedicated prayer warrior team.
During the call, the team lifts up the persecuted to cover them in much needed prayer. We pray for individuals, communities and entire nations experiencing extreme persecution. We host the conference call on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings at 9 p.m. Eastern.
Periodically, we host special prayer call events lasting anywhere from a few to 24 hours for open prayer. On occasion, persecuted brothers and sisters are invited on the call to share the trials they’re facing. Time is often reserved for those on the call to ask questions. We believe this helps to gain a better perspective of the situation persecuted Christians endure in their specific nations. Q&A also helps us to focus our prayers based on their current needs. The team serves to encourage them by washing their feet in Spirit-led prayer.
Persecution Watch also hosts callers from other nations who want to pray united. If your heart is perplexed by the sufferings of our persecuted brothers and sisters, you no longer need to pray alone. We welcome all who desire to pray and consider it a joy to pray together with you. If you’re new to the call and can’t find your voice, listen in and pray silently or on mute. We are grateful and thank the Lord for bringing us all together to pray in agreement for our persecuted family in Christ.
Be a part of the mission to serve the Lord and the Persecuted Church. We can all be prayer warriors on this call. JOIN THE TEAM!
By signing up below, you will receive prayer points for each weekly call, urgent prayer requests, information for Special Prayer Call events and guest speakers. If you’re not able to participate on every call, we ask that you will pray for those listed in the prayer point emails.
God bless and protect you in your faithfulness to serve.

I am a member of Persecution Watch, and I want to inform you about this: so many tweets come in to my account: prisoners in IRAN, in desperate, life threating situations, some even in acute danger to be decapitated – the list of their names become longer and longer – could we pray for them, too? together?
