I Was Moved to the Core – Inspired by faith of the Abdini’s

il_570xN.311161045

Glenn Hawkins – Virginia, USA

I first heard about Pastor Saeed when I heard Nagmeh’s powerful testimony when she spoke at a convocation at Liberty University.  I was moved to the core.  Since then I’ve been praying for all of you, and have strongly encouraged my congregation to pray for not just you, but for all of our brothers and sisters in countries that are hostile to the gospel.

Pastor Saeed, I pray that the Lord may continue to loosen your tongue to give your testimony and the gospel to your captors, and fellow prisoners.  Naghmeh, I can’t imagine what you are going through, and your desire to see the Lord glorified, even if it means you and your dear husband are separated, is one of great challenge to me personally.  Thank you for your faithfulness to our Lord, the One who “for the joy that was set before Him, endured”.

Thank you Glenn, for following the call to be prayerful. The Holy Spirit’s guidance for you and your congregation to pray for our dear brothers and sisters in Christ, persecuted for loving Jesus.

Blessings to you!

Tell Pastor Saeed that we understand, and we will pick up the cross and follow Christ as he has.

Join in this project to let the Abedini’s know how they have inspired or renewed your faith. Each testimony will be a source of encouragement to them and the Body of Christ. When the family is reunited, we will gather the stories to be published in a book and presented to them as an appreciation for their steadfast faith. Together, we will be able to provide a little insight into how God has worked through them to be a blessing to more than they realize.  Add your testimony below. If your church has been active in praying for this persecuted family, inform them of this special mission so they too can share their thoughts and be an encouragement.

Strength To Overcome – Inspired by faith of the Abedini family

troubles seem smal

Robin-Ohio, USA

My family and I pray daily for the Abedini family.  I have been deeply touched by their story.  Each day when I am tempted to complain about the difficulties of life, I pause and reflect on what they are going through.  I realize that my challenges are so small in light of what they are dealing with.   I only wish they could hear the sweet voices of my children pray for them daily.  I know The Lord hears them and we will never give up hope.

Through their story, I now realize that God can give us the strength to overcome this world.

Overcoming the many trials one faces is a complete dependency on God. He will bring us through it, if we hold fast to Him.
What a treasure you are teaching your little ones to pray for Saeed and his family.
Thank you Robin, they will be touched.

Love in Action – Inspired by faith of the Abedini family

Love and Courage

The courage and love shown by the Abedini family is greatly encouraging to me. A man on fire for the Lord, Saeed is wrongfully imprisoned for his faith yet has such love and wisdom despite beatings and health challenges. A wife, Naghmeh, who even though shy, has managed to speak out to millions in many settings. A Mom and Dad who love their son, willing to live in a hostile environment to be able to visit and encourage him. Two beautiful innocent children who love and miss their Daddy, going to vigils and praying for him to be home. To me this family is Love for Jesus in action!! I am awed by their courage, love and dedication to each other but mostly to their Lord and God, Jesus Christ.

The Abedini’s have a beautiful family testimony. A tapestry that is interlaced with iridescence strands, representing each family members journey of faith and trust in their Lord and Savior! Thank you Arlene for sharing. God bless you.

Fighting the good fight – Inspired by the faith of the Abedini’s

fighting the good fight-VOP

Lisa, USA

I have had the pleasure of becoming Facebook friends with Naghmeh. She has shared this journey with millions of Christians and others who are not. Her and her husbands journey has moved me and inspired me to stand up for my faith in Jesus Christ, King of all Creation with more boldness and courage. How God is using her family to be glorified is incredible and such a blessing. And, how many are knowing our God for the first time through this family is truly amazing!  One day, I pray God will bring Pastor Saeed home to America. It will be such a blessing to meet him on American soil, that day—I pray.

Thank you for starting these testimonies.

Precious Example of the Marriage Covenant – Inspired by faith of the Abedini’s

MarriageCovenant

Elsie De Luca, Michigan, USA

It is absolutely outstandingly beautiful to witness the Marriage Covenant that Pastor Saeed and his wife have presented as a Gift to our world where covenants are broken so easily.

I also have been a witness to the Love this family displays as I follow their lives and struggles on Face Book.

And my heart’s desire is that Pastor Saeed will be released into “the Arms of his Precious Ones.”

Thank you Elsie for sharing your heart for the Abedini’s. We too are praying for Saeed’s release and reunion with his family who are missing him beyond words. God bless you!

Matthew 18-20

George D Mate, City of Carlisle in the English Lake District, UK

The Lord Jesus laid the Abedini family on my heart some months ago and I began to pray for them, I then shared them with another Christian friend now as a result of this, I created a new email address from “modelrallysport” to “prayerchangesthings-@outlook.com” there are now 12 of us praying and our group is growing …. PRAISE the Lord!

“As o’er each continent and island
The dawn leads on another day,
The voice of prayer is never silent,
Nor dies the strain of praise away”.

WE WILL KEEP PRAYING FOR YOU ALL

God Bless YOU and KEEP YOU

May Your Test of Faith Become a Testimony Inspired by faith of the Abedini’s

greatest-test

Mary, GA, USA

I had been praying for other Iranian Christians before Saeed was arrested in Iran for past Christian activities there.  Now, Neghmeh has brought international attention to the plight of persecuted Christians in Iran and elsewhere around the world.

I have been deeply moved by Neghmeh’s commitment to pray without ceasing and to walk by faith, not by sight or circumstances in regards to her husband’s imprisonment.  She and Saeed are now famous and so is the plight of other persecuted Christians around the world, which is the way Jesus wants it-for us to be educated and know about our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ.  Thank God for the Abedinis letting us know the truth of what is going on with Saeed and others, so we can do our part to support these uncompromising and strong heroes of the Christian faith.  Naghmeh and Saeed are not backing down from their commitment to Christ no matter what.  Their example of remaining true, steadfast, and faithful to to God and their Lord and Savior Jesus, is a shining example for us all!

Not even Muhammad himself would treat Saeed badly and put him in any prison.  Followers of Muhammad
should not be doing this either.  Everyone in the Middle East should be able to choose their own religion and have the freedom to worship the way they choose.  Why not?

May God bless you and keep you strong!

Your sister in Christ,
Mary

May we being living sacrifices so that our faith, love and testimonies point them to the Lord. May all the glory and praise go to our Father in Heaven. IN FAITH, KEEP PRAYING AND TRUSTING.
