The Stench Of Death Grows: Hundreds killed in Boko Haram attack in Nigeria

boko haram

Many media outlets are reporting this abominable attack on innocent people in NE Nigeria.  This comes on the heels of news that the US is sending a team to help find the girls that were kidnapped by these demonic forces. There has been world outcry over the kidnapping of school girls, and video posted by Boko Haram recently.  In the video Boko Haram boasted that they were going to sell the girls in the market by the name of Allah.  The UK has also committed to rescue the girls.

Now this. There is an evil super highway of terror that is growing wider and longer by the day.  The stench of death is permeating in this part of the world.  The torture and slaughter that is going unchecked in the region is unfathomable by the West.  This is an evil that comes straight from the pits of Hell.  The very name Boko Haram means “Western Education is Sinful.”  This vitriol that would attack innocent school girls is an abomination.  This group is not the only terrorist group that holds to this.  Remember the Taliban also have attacked school girls.

I just read an article that the UN backed by Iran rescued Rebels from the Syrian city of Homs as Assad was retaking it. The rebels were quoted as saying “The rest of the world failed us.”  They also said that Iran was the only one that could rescue them, and it show’s that Iran, not Russia is stronger.  The implications of this is unbelievable.  The UN sends teams to Syria to rescue Rebels. (More)  They can rescue murderers but they can’t rescue school girls and put a stop to this slaughter of innocents?   We can’t let the world wide attention and outcry for this to cease or grow silent.  This beast is growing, and it’s time for the world leaders to be accountable.

(RT)  At least 300 people were killed in a northeastern Nigerian town on the Cameroon border in the latest attack by Islamist militant group Boko Haram, AFP reports, citing a local senator and witnesses.

The attack on Gamboru Ngala took place Monday night, but the official death toll was first reported Wednesday in the national newspaper The Daily Trust, which put it at 200 people and counting.

Area senator Ahmed Zanna now tells AFP that “the death toll from the attack is around 300” and “property has been razed.” Residents say over one hundred bodies have been collected so far and that this not the final toll yet.

“Since morning, our people have been conducting funerals for the dead and up to 8pm (last night) they are not done yet. There’s no family that is not affected in Gamboru,” federal lawmaker from the area, Abdulrahman Terab, told The Daily Trust.

The militants had entered the village of Gamboru in armored vehicles, on motorcycles, and with pick-up trucks.

“The attackers stormed the communities in the night when residents were still sleeping, setting ablaze houses and shooting residents who tried to escape from the fire,’” Senator Ahmed Zannah said in a BBC Hausa report Tuesday.  Among the dead were some 16 policemen.  Hundreds killed in Boko Haram attack in Nigeria — RT News.

Pray for the people of Nigeria, pray for our brothers and sisters there.  They are in grave danger.  And pray for the innocent school girls that have been kidnapped.
