Trusting God with a Grateful Heart
(Voice of the Persecuted) You are invited to join us on Saturday, July 30, 2022 in a prayer conference call for the persecuted church hosted by Persecution Watch.
Psalm 107:1 “Give thanks to the LORD for he is good; his love endures forever.” (A familiar refrain throughout the Psalms)
We are continually reminded why we are to have a thankful heart.
- Pray that those persecuted would have thankful hearts in spite of suffering.
Jude 1:23 “And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”
- Pray persecutors would quickly feel the repercussions (pay an immediate penalty from the Almighty) for their persecution of Christians to cause them to be afraid of persecuting them.
Isaiah 55:6 “Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.”
- Pray this would cause them to seek the living God.
Isaiah 58:8c “Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear… “
- Pray Christians would be a light to those around them.
- Pray for supernatural healing for Christians and those who they pray for.
Isaiah 56:7 “… for my house will be called a house of prayer for all Nations.“
- Pray believers would have a place to gather for worship, prayer, spiritual growth.
1 Corinthians 14:26 “What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church.”
- Pray each one would hear from the Holy Spirit to be able to contribute to the group and edify themselves and one another.
- Pray for the church to not be dependent on top down feeding, being vulnerable to false doctrine, competition, idolizing pastors, etc.
1 Corinthians 12:12-13 “The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all it’s parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we are all immersed by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.”
- Pray for unity. Pray we would all know and be satisfied with the position where God has placed us.
James 4:6 “But He gives us more grace. That is why scripture says: ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble’” (quoting proverbs 3:34)
- Pray for humility, especially for those in leadership. Especially for leaders of Nations and in leadership positions who are persecuting Christians and others. For God to give them grace to repent.
Ephesians 5:15-16 “Be very careful then how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil.”
Psalm 90:12 “Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
- Pray the church would make good use of the time God has given us.
- Pray the church would not squander time and would take advantage of every opportunity
Psalm 59:2-3 “Deliver me from evildoers and save me from bloodthirsty men. See how they lie in wait for me! Fierce men conspire against me for no offense or sin of mine, O LORD.”
- Pray Almighty God would deliver Christians from those desiring to kill or harm them.
Psalm 62:8 “Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge.”
- May the persecuted church trust in the power and goodness of God; may they be able to cry out and pour out their hearts to Him.
1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
- Pray church would be fully convinced that their work (our prayers on this call too) is not for nothing.
We are continuing to lift up these persecuted witnesses to the Lord:
Leah Sharibu prisoner of Boko Haram since 2018. Pray for her release.
Alice Loksha Ngaddah was kidnapped in February 2019. She is a mother of two, working as a nurse for UNICEF. Pray for her release.
Pastor Wang Yi to be released from Chinese prison.
Anita a Christian convert, facing a long prison term who escaped from Iran and praying to go to a country where she can express her faith openly.
Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani from Iran for his release and his family as their persecution continues. Pastor Nadarkhani is serving the second year of his six-year sentence.
The Harvest
“I am sending you, to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me” (Acts 26:18)

What is Persecution Watch?
Persecution Watch is a U.S. national prayer conference call ministry that prays specifically for the global Persecuted Church. For over a decade, Blaine Scogin led this national network of believers who faithfully pray for the persecuted and the global harvest for the Kingdom of God. The group meets via a free call-in service every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday night at 9pm Eastern time in the United States (please check your time zone). Blaine also served as Prayer Director for Voice of the Persecuted, and the missions became one. Brother Blaine passed into glory on December 26, 2019. It was truly a blessing for all of us to serve alongside this dear man of God and he will be greatly missed. The prayer mission of Persecution Watch remains an important part of our mission. Voice of the Persecuted is committed to continue the prayer conference call for the persecuted along with the dedicated Persecution Watch prayer warrior team.
Prior to the passing of Brother Blaine, he confirmed the passing of the torch as prayer conference call leader to Nadia Dybvik. Nadia has a burdened heart for the persecuted and is a prayer warrior standing in the gap for them. She joined the Persecution Watch prayer team in 2013 and has been part of the core ever since. Before becoming the prayer call leader, she served in the role of prayer moderator since 2015. Blaine chose Nadia for her faithfulness to pray for the persecuted and her strong commitment to the Persecution Watch mission. We are blessed not only with her gift of prayer, but her genuine love for every brother and sister in Christ that comes on the call to pray. May the Lord continue to bless Nadia and the prayer team in the mission and their personal lives.
“Pray for us” is the number one request that we hear from the persecuted. As the members of the first century Church were moved by the Holy Spirit to pray, we too must continue to serve those suffering persecution by lifting them up to the Lord through prayer.
On occasion, persecuted brothers and sisters have been invited on the conference call to share the trials they are facing. The team serves to encourage them by washing their feet in Spirit led prayer. Time is often reserved for those on the call to ask questions. We believe this helps to gain a better understanding of the situation that persecuted Christians endure in their specific nations. Q&A also helps us to focus our prayers based on their current needs.
Persecution Watch also hosts callers who want to pray united from other nations. If your heart is perplexed by the sufferings of our persecuted brothers and sisters, you no longer need to pray alone.
We welcome all who desire to pray for the persecuted church and consider it a joy to pray together with you. If you are new to the call and cannot find your voice, listen in and pray silently or on mute. We are grateful and thank the Lord for bringing us all together to pray in agreement for our persecuted family in Christ. We can all be prayer warriors on this call!
God bless and protect you in your faithfulness to serve.

Praising God As We Pray For The Persecuted
(Voice of the Persecuted) You are invited to join us on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in a prayer conference call for the persecuted church hosted by Persecution Watch.
Hallelujah!!! Let us rejoice that our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Psalm 95:1-2 “Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the God of our salvation; Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.”
- Help Your people to be able to praise you and thank you
Psalm 95:3 “For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods.”
- Help Your people to know and remember that God is sovereign and controls all things; that all things work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose; that His ways and thoughts are higher than ours.
- Pray these promises would bring supernatural peace in this troubled and wicked world. He has given us His peace, not as the world gives.
2 Corinthians 1:20
“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “yes” in Christ. And so through
Him the “Amen” is spoken through us to the glory of God.”
- Thank you for giving us divine promises which are “yes” and “amen” in Messiah.
- Pray this would encourage the church and bring much hope and strength.
- Pray believers would have access to God’s Word.
Acts 4:19-20 “But Peter and John replied: ‘judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to obey you rather than God. For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.'”
- Pray all men would fear God and not men; not be a stumbling block for salvation.
- Pray for boldness in witnessing.
Acts 26:18 “I am sending you to open their eyes, and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.”
- Pray for salvation for the lost; pray for the harvest.
Ezekiel 13:22 “Because you disheartened the righteous with your lies, when I had brought them no grief, and because you encouraged the wicked not to turn from their evil ways and so save their lives.”
John 17:17 “Sanctify them by the truth; Your Word is truth.”
- Pray against a spirit of witchcraft, manipulation, blended religion, ungodly compromise.
- Pray church would not be deceived.
Psalm 94:1 “O LORD, the God who avenges, O God who avenges, shine forth.”
- Pray church would be able to forgive and allow God to avenge them; trust God to do it.
- Pray God would speedily avenge His people.
Psalm 64:1 “Hear me, O God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy.”
Interlinear translation: “Guard my life from terror of the enemy.”
- Pray for supernatural, angelic protection
Psalm 82:3-4 “Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed; rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”
- Pray for the fatherless and the widows; deliver them from the wicked
Malachi 4:2 “But for you who revere my Name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.”
- Pray for healing: pray for the gift of healing; pray for healing for those beaten and for those denied medical care; pray it will be seen as evidence of God’s glory and greatness.

Persecution Watch: Praying for Believers in China
(Voice of the Persecuted) You are invited to join us on Thursday July 21, 2022 in a prayer conference call for the persecuted church hosted by Persecution Watch.
Population: 1.4 billion, Christians 96.7 million
Surveillance in China is among the most oppressive and sophisticated in the world. Church attendance is rigorously monitored, and many churches are being closed down – whether they’re independent or belong to the Three-Self Patriotic Movement (the officially state-sanctioned Protestant church in China).
It remains illegal for under-18s to attend church. All meeting venues had to close during the Covid-19 crisis, but some churches were forced to remain closed once restrictions began to lift and were quietly phased out.
Christian leaders are generally the main target of government surveillance, and a very small number have been abducted.
The following two reports show what Christian’s experience:
The Chinese government continues its efforts to transform Christianity into a tool of the state. China offers yet another instance of the persecution of Christians by governing officials that is unfortunately on the increase not only in China, but in all too many other nations around the world.
“600 Church of Almighty God Members Sentenced in 2021,” by Wang Yichi, Bitter Winter, November 3, 2021:Since the CCP started carrying out a 3-year “Final Solution” plan against The Church of Almighty God (CAG) last September, the persecution has continuously strengthened. Even common CAG members have been sentenced to penalties as severe as seven years and six months in prison.
2019. During the following two years or more, the police kept them in pre-trial detention, and deprived them of visits from their relatives. When their relatives went to the detention house and applied for visits, the police not only refused to allow the meetings, but took the opportunity to interrogate the relatives about the faith of the arrested CAG members.
Church of Almighty God member dies in prison. On September 25, 2021, the People’s Court of Zhangqiu, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jinan city in the eastern province of Shandong, opened the trial against 48 CAG members, who had been detained for more than two years. They were sentenced to penalties of two, three, or more years in prison, including four members under the age of 20 and one 67-year-old devotee. One 80-year-old member was sentenced to two years and four months in prison, and later was allowed to serve her sentence outside the prison.
As readers of Bitter Winter know, reacting to the rapid development of the CAG, the CCP has put it on the list of xie jiao (banned religious movements) since its founding, carrying out a brutal persecution against it. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the CCP did not relax its efforts to crack down on the CAG.
A CAG member from Shandong Province was sentenced to four years in prison this August. Less than two months after her sentence, the local police informed her family that she had died of a heart attack, and urged them to cremate her body immediately. Before cremation, however, the police forbade her family from changing the clothes of the deceased, which would have allowed relatives to examine her body. The real cause of her death remains unknown.
Next:
The Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Christians has taken a disturbing new turn. According to a recent Radio Free Asia report, Chinese Christians are being detained at secretive “brainwashing camps.” Writing under the pseudonym of Li Yuese, a Chinese Christian detailed the conditions of his detention in a “transformation facility” where he was held for 10 months after the CCP raided his house church in Sichuan province in 2018. Most of the prisoners held in these mobile facilities, operated by the United Front Work Department in collaboration with the state security police, have been taken from house churches that operate outside of state approval.
Imprisoned in a windowless room without ventilation, Li was subjected to verbal and physical abuse. United Front officials use intimidation, threats, and beatings to force detainees to renounce their faith. The repression was so brutal that Li testified, “After you’ve been in there a week, death starts to look better than staying there.” At his release, Li was in very poor health. He remains haunted by his experience.
Imprisoning Christians in brainwashing camps is another step in the CCP’s intensifying crackdown on religion. The CCP believes independent religious practice threatens its power. Under President Xi Jinping’s policy of “Sinicization,” the party seeks to conform religion to its political goals. Religious groups deemed to “disrupt public order” face severe monitoring and persecution.
The CCP’s persecution of Christians has also involved demolishing churches and arresting leaders like Pastor Wang Yi of Early Rain Covenant Church, who was sentenced to nine years in prison in 2019. Tibetan Buddhists, Uighur Muslims are also persecuted. Meanwhile, Falun Gong members are reportedly subject to forced organ harvesting and extrajudicial imprisonment.
Prayer Points:
- Pray for the Lord to touch President Chi and open his eyes to understand Christian Values.
- Pray for the authorities in China to recognize the importance of religious freedom and allow the Church to gather and worship without restrictions.
- Pray to the Lord that He will blind, confuse, and distract state agencies that control churches and Christian lifestyles.
- Pray that, despite intense surveillance, faith will flourish in China and more people will discover God’s love.
- Ask the Lord to protect and be with the believers who converted from Buddhism and Islam as they face intense persecution
- Pray for church leaders who are monitored and harassed for their ministry. Ask the Lord to give them strength and wisdom
- Pray for unity of all Christian churches, that their witness will continue to be powerful while being under constant pressure.
- COVID 19 gave Chinese authorities a reason to shut down many churches – and keeping them shut. Ask the Lord to break the powers of darkness and that He will give the keys to His pastors that believers can worship again.
- Pray that local NGO partners will be able to reach vulnerable Christians with vital Christian literature, training, and fellowship.
- Pray that persecuted believers will not become bitter and be able to love and forgive.
- Pray to the Lord to protect and comfort believers whose family members are serving prison terms.
- Pray for the Lord’s hand to be on His believers and to encourage them to bring the Gospel message to the lost.
- Pray that the Lord will continue to grow the number of believers in spite of challenges from the Chinese Communist Party and that the community of saints will greatly expand.

Persecution Watch: Release of God’s Glory Over Tibet

(Voice of the Persecuted) You are invited to join us on Tuesday July 19, 2022 in a prayer conference call for the persecuted church hosted by Persecution Watch.
Dear Prayer Warriors, the Lord through our sister Cathy let me know that He wants us to pray for a Release of God’s Glory Over Tibet and for the Peace of the Tibetan Refugees.
Psalm 65:5-8
“You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas, who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength, who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations. The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; Where morning dawns, where evening fades, You call forth songs of joy.”
Matthew 9:36-38
“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Psalm 91:14-15
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.”
- Pray for Protection for Harvest Workers and the Gospel Message to the Tibetan’s
1 Corinthians 9:19-23
“Even though I am free of the demands and expectations of everyone, I have voluntarily become a servant to any and all in order to reach a wide range of people: religious, nonreligious, meticulous moralists, loose-living immoralists, the defeated, the demoralized-whoever. I didn’t take on their way of life. I kept my bearings in Christ-but I entered their world and tried to experience things from their point of view.”
- Pray for obstacles to the Gospel – (A prayer of repentance for suppressing one culture and exalting another.)
Psalm 33:5
“The LORD loves righteousness & justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.”
Psalm 89:4
“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you.”
- Pray Against Oppression.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3
“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- Pray for a Release of a Baptism of Love to Harvest Workers.
John 15:5
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
- Pray for the Church to remain in Christ and continuing to grow and bare much fruit through Him.
Isaiah 45:22
“Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.”
- Pray for the Salvation of the Tibetan’s who are last.
Isaiah 65:1
“I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those Who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name,
I said, “Here am I, Here am I.”
- Pray for blessings for Tibet & favor for harvest workers there.
Isaiah 55:11
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
- Pray for Gospel Tools to Multiply.

Praying for Believers in Syria
(Voice of the Persecuted) You are invited to join us on Thursday July 14, 2022, in a prayer conference call for the persecuted church hosted by Persecution Watch.
Syria: Population: 19.6 million, Christians 638,000
Even though the public threat of ISIS has largely subsided, Christians in Syria still grapple with daily persecution that may become violent. In areas where Islamic extremist groups are active, leaders of historical church communities may be targeted simply because they are more visible. But leaders of other Christian groups are also vulnerable because they may be more active in evangelism. Church buildings were destroyed in many parts of Syria where Islamic extremists had control (or continue to maintain control). Where extremists control territory, any public expression of faith is dangerous. Additionally, every Christian in Syria lives with the constant realization that Islamic extremists have not necessarily left Syria—they’ve just retreated into the shadows, and they may return to public life again in the future.
As the Christian population of Syria has diminished due to the civil war, more and more Syrian Christians come from a Muslim background. This makes them additional targets—the government wants to ensure there is no social upheaval caused by religious conversion, and families and communities may reject, punish, or even attack Christians who convert from Islam.
Violence against Christians decreased in Syria, which is news worth celebrating. And yet, the country remains high on the World Watch List—the pressure on all Christians is extreme, and church leaders are targeted for abuse and persecution. Christians who leave Islam continue to bear a large burden placed on them by government, society, and their own families.
In the parts of Syria where Islamic extremists maintain control, Christians remain under significant pressure. ISIS has attacked Christian targets in the last several years, and tensions are high. Places where Turkey has supplied fighters and military support after its invasion in late 2019 are also dangerous for Christians. And finally, Christians who leave Islam to follow Jesus are at risk throughout Syria.
Prayer Points
- Pray that God will bring peace to the country and soften the hearts of those in power to provide for the most vulnerable members of Syrian society.
- Lift up the political and military situation in Syria. The civil war has continued for more than a decade, and even as the worst of the violence seems to be over, the country continues to be broken.
- Pray for Christians in Syria, particularly church leaders and converts from Islam. Pray God would protect them from violence, but that He would also raise their spirits even when daily life seems impossible. Ask God to inflame their hearts with love for Him, and to give them the knowledge the worldwide Church is with them.
- Ask God to strengthen the churches that Open Doors works with in Syria. Ask Him to bless our leadership and discipleship training. Pray that God would increase the ministry of our Centers of Hope, that they would be beacons of God’s peace for Christians so devastated by war and Islamic extremists.
- Pray for peace and stability so that displaced Christians can return home to rebuild their lives.
- Pray that the Christians in Syria will be the LIGHT in a country that has been wrecked by civil war and by Islamic extremism.
- Pray to the Lord for believers who have lost family members and friends because of their faith. Pray to the Lord to comfort them and that they know they are not alone.
- Pray to the Lord to comfort believers who are isolated, left behind when family members were killed, and neighbors had fled.
- Pray for believers to continue to grow in strength and faith and keep their eyes on Jesus. That they know they are not alone, that they are prayed for.
- Pray for powerful messages on the internet that draw Muslims in and minister to Christians.
- Pray for the Lord that His believers are bold and courageous to witness to Muslims.
- Pray that Christians will remain to love their enemies and forgive them.
- Pray that pastors and elders will be granted protection and wisdom as they minister to Christians.
- Pray for NGOs working with the local church in Syria through strengthening its leadership and helping the Syrian church be a beacon of hope in Syria. Supporting literature distribution, biblical discipleship and training, trauma counseling and the establishment of community centers (Centers of Hope, OD) that provide services to Syrian Christians and their neighbors.
- Pray for the Lord that He will restore His church in Syria, bind, defeat the forces of darkness and mightily grow the numbers of believers.

Praying for Believers and Muslims in Saudi Arabia

(Voice of the Persecuted) You are invited to join us on Saturday July 12, 2022, in a prayer conference call for the persecuted church hosted by Persecution Watch.
Dear Prayer Warriors, as I was seeking God’s guidance this morning, I was led to Hebrews 10:19-22.
“19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.”
Ephesians 3:12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.”
The Hajj is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia,[2] the holiest city for Muslims. Hajj is a mandatory religious duty for Muslims that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by all adult Muslims who are physically and financially capable of undertaking the journey, and of supporting their family during their absence from home. (source) One million Muslims will make the pilgrimage in 2022. This year, Hajj began on the evening of July 7 and ends on the evening of July 12, tonight.
- I welcome you tonight to pray with me for there is no Muslim in the cities of Mecca or Medina that the Holy Spirit cannot reach!
POPULATION in Saudi Arabia: 35,263,000 / CHRISTIANS: 1,200,000
What does persecution look like in Saudi Arabia?
The majority of the Christians in Saudi Arabia are foreigners who temporarily live and work in the country. Most of these workers come from low- and middle-income countries, and there are numerous reports of migrant workers being abused and being subjected to horrific working and living conditions. The COVID-19 pandemic made this reality even more obvious, as spikes in infections tended to center in migrant communities where sanitation and social distancing were much more difficult. Christian foreign workers can be targeted for their faith since it’s another way to abuse a worker. Foreign Christians are heavily restricted from sharing their faith or gathering for worship, and any actions outside of the norm can lead to detention and deportation.
There are converts from Islam in Saudi Arabia. Those who came from majority-Muslim countries likely live and work in communities that reflect the cultural norms of their home—so they can be at risk if their social context is opposed to conversion. The few converts who are Saudi Arabian are usually forced to live out their faith in secrecy, risking violence, divorce and more. Nevertheless, there have been some Saudi Christians in recent years who have been bold enough to share their faith, at great risk to their lives.
What has changed this year?
Christian persecution remains high in Saudi Arabia and has gotten worse in the last year. The country remains an extremely difficult place to be a Christian, especially for any native Saudi who finds Jesus.
Who is most vulnerable to persecution?
The level of persecution in Saudi Arabia is generally the same all over the country, although social control is likely to be higher in rural areas. A possible exception are Western expatriate compounds where there is less control and pressure to adhere to strict Islamic norms.
Prayer Points
- Many Christians in Saudi Arabia are migrant workers who are already abused for their minority status. Pray for foreign Christians, that they will be protected from mistreatment and will be able to find a Christian community where they can grow in faith and be trained to advance the gospel.
- Pray for the secret Saudi believers who must hide their faith from friends and family. Ask God to help them know they aren’t alone.
- Saudi Arabia is home to the Muslim holy sites of Mecca and Medina. The Saudi expression of Islam is often radical and intensely opposed to any deviation. Ask God to soften the hearts of religious leaders and the monarchy, that they would be open to allowing other religions to worship freely in Saudi Arabia.
We are continuing to lift up these persecuted witnesses to the Lord:
Alice Loksha Ngaddah was kidnapped in February 2019. She is a mother of two, working as a nurse for UNICEF. Pray for her release.
Leah Sharibu prisoner of Boko Haram since 2018. Pray for her release.

Praying for Believers who suffer for following Christ
(Voice of the Persecuted) You are invited to join us on Saturday, July 9, 2022 in a prayer conference call for the persecuted church hosted by Persecution Watch.
I feel led to pray about those who are suffering because of the Word. Our response to suffering reveals our love and trust in God.
- Pray for those who are suffering because they are Christians that they would experience God’s amazing love, favor, and strength in His divine presence.
- Pray that suffering would result in spiritual growth, including Godly character and increased consecration.
Philippians 3:10
“I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and to he fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death.”
- Pray the church would not be afraid or reject the fellowship of His sufferings, but be able to identify with Yeshua and those suffering.
- Pray the church would operate in the power of His resurrection.
As the return of Messiah draws near, it appears that suffering is increasing in both frequency and intensity.
Proverbs 24:10 “If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength.”
- Pray the church would have strength to endure; that His goodness and unfailing love would hold us together when life is falling apart.
- Pray the church would trust in the goodness of God, increased faith.
Romans 8:18 “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
- Pray that God’s glory be revealed through our sufferings.
- Pray for a Godly perspective to know that our lives are not all about us, but also for the good of others and God’s glory.
Philippians 3:16 “Only let us live up to what we have already attained.”
- Pray the church would not backslide or fall away during troubles and persecution. The Word says because of the increase of evil and the love of many will grow cold.
Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
- Pray for peace that passes understanding.
- Pray for thankful hearts.
- Pray that the church would pray more and be more persistent in prayer.
Philippians 2:13 “For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose.”
- Pray the church would hear clearly what the will of God is and to obey by acting on it.
Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: rejoice!
- Pray we will be able to rejoice in every circumstance, good or bad, knowing God’s love and goodness; knowing we will spend eternity with our beautiful loving Savior! Amen
