Dear Prayer Warriors, (Voice of the Persecuted) and Persecution Watch invite you to join us on Saturday March 13, 2021 in a prayer conference call for the persecuted Church.

Praying for the Bride (The Body of Christ which is the Church) Part 1

Bride praises the King:  Psalm 45

“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love” Ephesians 1:4

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” Deuteronomy 6:5

“Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”Matthew 22:37

“Love the Lord, all his faithful people! The Lord preserves those who are true to him, but the proud he pays back in full.” Psalm 31:23

*   Pray the bride will love God (Yahovah and Yeshua) more and more, with all their heart, mind, strength and draw closer to Him.

“39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:39-40

“May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.” 1 Thessalonians 3:12

1 Corinthians 13

*  Pray the bride will increase in love for one another.

*  Pray fruits of the Spirit would manifest themselves in the bride:  patience, kindness, gentleness.

*  Pray would have humility, meekness.

“It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.” Ephesians 5:12

*  Pray the bride would surrender herself as Messiah did.

“Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.” Leviticus 19:18

*  Pray we don’t hold a grudge against one of our brothers/sisters.

“You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.”

Psalm 86:5

*  Pray we would be more like Yeshua and be ready to forgive.

“21 If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. 22 In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you.” Proverbs 25:21-22

“43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” Matthew 5:43-48

*  Pray will love and pray for our enemies as Messiah did; we are to be like Him.

” … be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy.” Leviticus 19:2

“16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” 17 Therefore,

“Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you.”
 2 Corinthians 6:16-17

“4 Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “‘Come out of her, my people,’
so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;”
 Revelation 18:4

*  Pray the Bride will be holy and separated from things of this world.

“From the fruit of their lips people enjoy good things, but the unfaithful have an appetite for violence.” Proverbs 13:2

“Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.” James 1:26

“Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.”

Psalm 141:3

*  Pray the words of our lips be acceptable to Adonai.

“Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.” Ephesians 5:4

“Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues.”

Prov. 10:19

*  Pray to refrain from foolish talking.

“May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”

Psalm 19:14

*  Pray the meditation of our heart be acceptable as well.

“I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I hate what faithless people do;  I will have no part in it.” Psalm 101:3

*  Shield our eyes (and ears) from wicked things we should not see or hear.

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

“Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord.” Leviticus 22:31

*  Pray God will complete the good work He has for you.

12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” Philippians 2:12-13

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.” Revelation 19:7

*  Pray bride will work with the Holy Spirit to make herself ready.

“May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.” Psalm 20:4

“With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.”

2 Thessalonians 1:11

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

*  Pray God will fulfill all His purposes for you.

What is Persecution Watch?
Persecution Watch is a U.S. national prayer conference call ministry that prays specifically for the global Persecuted Church. For over a decade, Blaine Scogin led this national network of believers who faithfully pray for the persecuted and the global harvest for the Kingdom of God.

The group meets via a free call-in service every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday night at 9pm Eastern (please check your time zone). Blaine also served as Prayer Director for Voice of the Persecuted and our missions became one. The prayer mission of Persecution Watch is an important part of our own.

With the passing of Blaine into glory on December 26, 2019, Voice of the Persecuted is committed to continue the prayer conference call for the persecuted along with our dedicated prayer warrior team.

On occasion, persecuted brothers and sisters have been invited on the call to share the trials they’re facing. The team serves to encourage them by washing their feet in Spirit led prayer.

Time is often reserved for those on the call to ask questions. We believe this helps to gain a better understanding of the situation that persecuted Christians endure in their specific nations. Q&A also helps us to focus our prayers based on their current needs.

Persecution Watch also hosts callers who want to pray united from other nations. If your heart is perplexed by the sufferings of our persecuted brothers and sisters, you no longer need to pray alone. We welcome all who desire to pray for the persecuted church and consider it a joy to pray together with you.

If you’re new to the call and can’t find your voice, listen in and pray silently or on mute. We are grateful and thank the Lord for bringing us all together to pray in agreement for our persecuted family in Christ. We can all be prayer warriors on this call!

NOTE: Persecution Watch has a new email address for the prayer team and those who would like to receive urgent prayer requests, weekly call prayer points and notification of special prayer events and special guest speakers.

Please fill out the form below to be included in our new distribution list to receive this important information. We are grateful for your prayers and to the Lord for guiding us as we continue the Persecution Watch prayer call mission.
