Dear Prayer Warriors, the Word of God teaches us about Thanksgiving and Prayer.

15 For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, 16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, 18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.” Ephesians 1:15-23

Our Father loves us, for this reason we must love one another as He loves us. This should come natural for those who love the Lord. We also love our persecuted brothers and sisters as we were suffering alongside them.  It’s our desire to ask our Father to help them, encourage, empower, sustain and endure trials, to love and forgive those who persecute them, and to lead the lost to Christ so they also may receive salvation.

Again, to obey and do the will of God under intense pressures and persecutions.

Think for a moment how hard it must be under immense ridicule, severe discrimination, harsh suffering and to trust our Heavenly Father. Most run from pain and hardship as they willingly run into the fire of persecution for the sake of Christ to serve God. Intense, isn’t it?

For this reason we are given, through Jesus, the desire to come on the Persecuted Watch prayer call for our precious brothers and sisters experiencing such persecution, trials and temptations of every kind.

Over and over, they tell us that our prayers are precious and powerful to them.

Dear Intercessors,

We encourage you to join us on tonight’s prayer call for the persecuted church. It’s such a blessing to pray together with you on the call.

We have so much to be thankful and much to pray for!

We will continue to lift up:

Leah Sharibu and Alice, that they will be set free from Boko Haram captivity.

Pastor Wang Yi to be released from prison, for his family, the children, and the church in China.

The Global Harvest for the Kingdom of God.

In Christ love,

Nadia & Marlene, Persecution Watch Prayer Moderators

What is Persecution Watch?
Persecution Watch is a U.S. national prayer conference call ministry that prays specifically for the global Persecuted Church. For over a decade, Blaine Scogin led this national network of believers who faithfully pray for the persecuted and the global harvest for the Kingdom of God.

The group meets via a free call-in service every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday night at 9pm Eastern (please check your time zone). Blaine also served as Prayer Director for Voice of the Persecuted and our missions became one. The prayer mission of Persecution Watch is an important part of our own.

With the passing of Blaine into glory on December 26, 2019, Voice of the Persecuted is committed to continue the prayer conference call for the persecuted along with our dedicated prayer warrior team.

On occasion, persecuted brothers and sisters have been invited on the call to share the trials they’re facing. The team serves to encourage them by washing their feet in Spirit led prayer.

Time is often reserved for those on the call to ask questions. We believe this helps to gain a better understanding of the situation that persecuted Christians endure in their specific nations. Q&A also helps us to focus our prayers based on their current needs.

Persecution Watch also hosts callers who want to pray united from other nations. If your heart is perplexed by the sufferings of our persecuted brothers and sisters, you no longer need to pray alone. We welcome all who desire to pray for the persecuted church and consider it a joy to pray together with you.

If you’re new to the call and can’t find your voice, listen in and pray silently or on mute. We are grateful and thank the Lord for bringing us all together to pray in agreement for our persecuted family in Christ. We can all be prayer warriors on this call!

NOTE: Persecution Watch has a new email address for the prayer team and those who would like to receive urgent prayer requests, weekly call prayer points and notification of special prayer events and special guest speakers.
