(Voice of the Persecuted) Dear Prayer Warriors, Frank Mceleny wrote a message yesterday that captured my attention.
This is what I am witnessing and experiencing and others that I know are sharing the same.
The saints are growing weary.
Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Daniel speaks of a time when the saints will be worn down. I believe the process of the saints being worn down has already begun. Times have been changed and wrong has become right and truth, at best, is relative. This is wearing the saints out as they struggle to come to terms with these fast-changing circumstances.
There has been a blitzkrieg so to speak in the realms of the spirit. Compromise and unrighteousness have surrounded the saints. We are an obstacle that at some point will have to be removed if the enemy is to have total dominance. More laws will be changed and we will witness more compromise by Christendom.
These are the days where it is vital that we find our strength in Jesus. We must press into Him, we must abide under the shadow of the almighty. It is time to be unashamed of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus. Yes you will lose friends, even Christian friends. Co-workers and family will find you unacceptable as they are drawn ever deeper into the sea of compromise and corruption.
But listen brothers and sisters, if we lose our saltiness, then what good are we? If we allow the light that is in us to become dim and we cover it, then what is our purpose on earth?
If the light in the lighthouse is turned of then what good is the lighthouse, it would be a structure without a purpose and countless people would drown in the storm as they are crushed upon the rocks.
Let us continue to stand upon the solid Rock of Jesus. Let His Truth be the light that shines from our inward man to a dark and dying world. Do not be afraid brothers and sisters of the terrors of the night nor the arrows that fly by day. For we shall call upon the Lord and He will answer us.
We shall be more than conquerors in Christ Jesus for the Lord is our hiding place, we continually abide in Him and in Him there is no darkness. Let your light so shine before men and be fierce advocates of the Truth no matter what.
Why should we not be wearied and troubled if we take our gaze off our Lord? Christendom is wearied and troubled. To think that the answer is this close. A turning of the head away from the world. Away from the traditions of men. Away from systems and institutions. Away from men themselves.
To look into the fullness of God. To look full into His wonderful face. To stand corporately where there is no division, but simply a royal priesthood gazing upwards.
There is an abundance of life that awaits the royal priesthood. To stand in the unity that the Lord Jesus spoke of in John 17 is to stand in awe as the cloud descends and fills the temple with Glory. This is the glory, this is the presence that the Father and the Son dwelt in before the world began.
Lord, let your glory fill your house, your temple. Fill us with your glory for your name’s sake. Let the things of this world grow strangely in the light of your glory and grace.
Now more than ever we must focus on God and seek Him in prayer for our persecuted Brothers and Sisters and for the Harvest.
We will continue to pray for:
Leah Sharibu and Alice, captives of Boko Haram, to be set free.
-Pray for Anita, we have learned from Voice of the Persecuted that her sentence was lowered to 6 years. Her attorney has appealed the lengthy prison term with the hope of lowering it to 1 year.
At present, she has not yet been called back to the prison and is still under house arrest. Pray she also will be released without serving the prison sentence and for her faith to remain strong.
-Pray that Pastor Wang Yi in China will be able to minister to inmates and that soon he will be released from prison. Pray for his family and for the Church that God gave him to lead.
James 5:16 The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much!
Lord willing, I look forward to praying with you tonight.
In the Shadow of his Cross,
Nadia Dybvik, Persecution Watch Prayer Leader

What is Persecution Watch?
Persecution Watch is a U.S. national prayer conference call ministry that prays specifically for the global Persecuted Church. For over a decade, Blaine Scogin led this national network of believers who faithfully pray for the persecuted and the global harvest for the Kingdom of God.
The group meets via a free call-in service every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday night at 9pm Eastern (please check your time zone). Blaine also served as Prayer Director for Voice of the Persecuted and our missions became one. The prayer mission of Persecution Watch is an important part of our own.
With the passing of Blaine into glory on December 26, 2019, Voice of the Persecuted is committed to continue the prayer conference call for the persecuted along with our dedicated prayer warrior team.
On occasion, persecuted brothers and sisters have been invited on the call to share the trials they’re facing. The team serves to encourage them by washing their feet in Spirit led prayer.
Time is often reserved for those on the call to ask questions. We believe this helps to gain a better understanding of the situation that persecuted Christians endure in their specific nations. Q&A also helps us to focus our prayers based on their current needs.
Persecution Watch also hosts callers who want to pray united from other nations. If your heart is perplexed by the sufferings of our persecuted brothers and sisters, you no longer need to pray alone. We welcome all who desire to pray for the persecuted church and consider it a joy to pray together with you.
If you’re new to the call and can’t find your voice, listen in and pray silently or on mute. We are grateful and thank the Lord for bringing us all together to pray in agreement for our persecuted family in Christ. We can all be prayer warriors on this call!
NOTE: Persecution Watch has a new email address for the prayer team and those who would like to receive urgent prayer requests, weekly call prayer points and notification of special prayer events and special guest speakers.
Please fill out the form below to be included in our new distribution list to receive this important information. We are grateful for your prayers and to the Lord for guiding us as we continue the Persecution Watch prayer call mission.
