On behalf of U.S. Pastor Andrew Brunson, his daughter addressed the Human Rights Council in Geneva and directly spoke to the Turkish representative there as well. See video below.

    Is this entire sad and unfortunate episode all because the United States is holding an octogenarian Imam that Turkey’s leader Erdogan believes, probably mistakenly, orchestrated a violent military coup from his rocking chair in the US? Even if he was involved by supportive tweets, it’s very sick of our supposed ally Turkey to hold an innocent Christian Pastor. Perhaps Erdogan’s thinking is that in “Christian America” there would be such an outcry from the top down and from the bottom up that we would exert pressure to release the aging imam. BUT there’s been no such outcry from Christian America, unfortunately.
