Canada. Let’s call it like it is: Our society views some cultures and creeds as more equal than others. Simply put: Christians are fair game for unfair treatment.

The latest case of unabashed anti-Christian bigotry hails from the heart of our nation’s most populous city. A Christian concert has literally been banned from Toronto’s public square.

Voices of the Nations (VOTN) has been using city property since 2006 for their annual multi-denominational event that celebrates Christianity through peaceful praise and worship. While the group used Yonge-Dundas Square for the past five years without issue, the City of Toronto is refusing to grant VOTN a permit for next year’s music festival. Read More

    I would never have thought to label Christians getting together to fellowship in praise and worship as proselytizing. All concerts and human gatherings are an affirmation of something. And you don’t have to go. Clearly, this is a supernatural opposition to and hatred of the one true God. I doubt that these bureaucrats would even be able to know that they are blind and poor and have an antichrist spirit within them. If Satanists, Muslims, or any other group want to hold an event there and really proselytize they will most likely be allowed to do so. Welcome to Satan’s anarchic, upside down version of God’s Kingdom. We should all keep all our brothers and sisters in Christ in prayer everyday. I bet in heaven we will find out it mattered.
