The United States Senate unanimously agrees that religious freedom and economic development must be correlated in any future trade deals the U.S. government pursues. Last week, the Senate voted 92-0 to amend the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), calling on the government to “weigh a nation’s religious freedom picture when conducting trade deals.” Read more at highlighted link.
