The Minister of Youth Development and Former Governor of Adamawa State, Mr Boni Haruna, could not hold back tears as he met victims of the North-East insurgency who have returned to their communities, following liberation by the military.  He promised to help them rebuild their lives.  Some of the victims said that they were happy to be home but wondered how to begin picking up the pieces of their lives.

We pray that these promises will be carried through.  These precious souls have been through so much it’s indescribable.  Pray for Nigeria.

Father we ask that you spread your mercy on the nation of Nigeria, we ask that you strengthen the Saints and the innocent there, give them a renewed spirit, grant them strength and endurance as they begin to rebuild their lives.  Father send them caring hands to provide for their needs, and provide comfort.  Father we ask that you send your Holy Spirit to surround them in a veil of protection, and love.  We ask that through them and their testimony of faith that you be glorified and the love and light of Christ will shine bright over this nation.  Father give them knowledge, wisdom and guidance as they pick a new leader.  Shed your light of understanding.  Father we ask that you give the leaders strength, and courage and a great love for all the people, and for peace Father.  We ask these things in Jesus Name.  Amen.
