Harry A. Mavrogeorge Jr – MA, USA
Dear Pastor Saeed and Naghmeh,
I want you to know that you are not forgotten–either by our loving Lord Jesus, nor by His Body, the Church. Your story has inspired me personally, especially after reading Foxx’s Book Of Martyrs earlier in the year. God is continuing to write new chapters each day through the lives of His faithful ones. And you, my dear Brother in Christ, are one of His faithful ones. We were pleased and humbled to be a part of the prayer vigil in September in our local church. I am part of my church’s missions board, and we regularly remember the Abedinis to God in our prayers. I have your picture on my wall in my humble apartment and I pray for you. Great is your reward, Saeed and Naghmeh and family for your unwavering faith in our faithful God!!
We love you so much in Christ Jesus, and look forward to the day when you will be reunited again. We believe God will do this!! Amen !!
AMEN! Thank you, Harry for remembering Saeed, your participation at the Prayer Vigil and for your continued prayers for this family, our family in Christ. The testimonies of our suffering brethren inspire our own faith helping us to realize the importance of being rooted in Christ to stand firm! We will pray for you and your church. God bless you, Harry!
VOP Project Team
Tell Pastor Saeed that we understand, and we will pick up the cross and follow Christ as he has.
Join in this project to let the Abedini’s know how they have inspired or renewed your faith. Each testimony will be a source of encouragement to them and the Body of Christ. When the family is reunited, we will gather the stories to be published in a book and presented to them as an appreciation for their steadfast faith. Together, we will be able to provide a little insight into how God has worked through them to be a blessing to more than they realize. Add your testimony below. If your church has been active in praying for this persecuted family, inform them of this special mission so they too can share their thoughts and be an encouragement.
