“O simple ones, learn prudence; O fools, learn sense.” (Proverbs 8:5) What The Media & Those Who Shape Policy Think About Boko Haram

One small voice cries out for the Persecuted Church

We have watched for as long as 2 years Boko Haram building it’s murderous band increasing in size and evil.  Destroying and claiming large swathes of land in Nigeria.  We have watched while they declared a ‘Caliphate’ and allegiance to ISIS.  The atrocities committed by this group are beyond description or comprehension.  They are killing in the name of ‘Allah’, and declaring they are the only government.  Recently they have decided to show the world that they are protecting the very people they are killing.  They have established sharia law, and a clear structure of what they want and what they will do.  They have released a staged video recently showing cheering people listening to the head of the snake  spewing his vitriol, and giving statements of support.  While in these areas, the amputation of hands and feet, beatings and even beheadings are carried out in the town squares as they mete out judgements on those who are accused of things such as theft or adultery.

And now a think tank spokesperson from ‘Chatham House’  declares they are ‘amorphous‘.   (Of a group of people or an organization lacking a clear structure or focus.  “An amorphous and leaderless legislature.”)

This is the same lack of knowledge or refusal to acknowledge that has led the west to support this evil ideology to the point that they are.  They have declared they will rule the world, genocide is occuring, they have declared a ‘Holy War’ on all  religious minorities,  the death tolls are rising in the hundreds of thousands, and a supposedly educated person say’s they are without form!  They are not without form, they are uniting from coast to coast with their members in the tens of  thousands.

While the media is beginning to cover this evil,  they are shaking their heads in disbelief watching as each day they grow in numbers, strength and brutality.  And all that can be said by those who influence the western policies is they lack form?  So they can claim they lack purpose, or vision, or that they are incapable of ruling anything, they can think there is no threat to the world, they can ignore the stench of death all they want, they can claim ignorance all they want, but “Ignorance excuses no man.”

If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work?”  (Proverbs 24:12)

Pray for Nigeria, pray for our brethren caught in this struggle for power, pray for those giving aide and providing comfort.  Pray for God’s love and peace to fill their hearts.   Give us all knowledge, wisdom, courage, and peace.
