praying-for_saeedabedini September 26, 2013 marks one year since Pastor Saeed Abedini has been held in the notorious Evin prison inside of Iran because of his Christian Faith. His wife, Naghmeh Abedini is planning a prayer vigil in front of state capitols all across the US and other government buildings (for those living outside of the USA). In order to show our prayer and support for Pastor Saeed and others imprisoned for their faith. And in order to let our governments know that religious freedom is not an issue to be silent about. We ask that they take action to ensure that this human right is protected. She asks,

Please prayerfully consider helping coordinate this prayer vigil in your city. IF you are coordinating it and can be a contact point, please share on this page and let me know so that …I can let others know. Please get the word out. You are welcome to involve your local media and radio stations. I am willing to do interviews regarding Saeed’s imprisonment and religious freedom. I will be providing updates and information in the next few weeks. Please message me with any questions.

  1. Tim McCarthy says:

I can’t see the list of coordinators. Is there any planning for Columbus, Ohio?

  2. As far as I know, Columbus does not have a vigil planned yet. If you are interested in possibly coordinating one in your area, there is still time.

Go to this Facebook page and let them know! https://www.facebook.com/PrayForPastorSaeedAbedini

  3. LJ Hadley says:

Where are you posting the events? I could attend in Eastern PA, NJ, or DL but I can’t find any events.

  4. Sandi says:

Will all the vigils be from 12-1?

  5. Some are being held at different times. See list here- http://www.savesaeed.org
